Funeral services for Norma Sue Crain Grantham will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana with Brother Harrell Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Sikes, Louisiana.
The family requests visitation to be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at Rose- Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Norma Sue Crain Grantham, 74, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Ms. Grantham‘s working years were served teaching first grade for 30 plus years. She loved teaching and was devoted to her students. She was a beloved member of Airline Baptist Church and a participant in Sunday School. Most of all Norma Sue loved the Lord and love studying his word.
Norma Sue relished the company of and found joy in her mahjong ladies’ group. They met weekly to pass a good time with not only mahjong, but dominoes and many other games.
Norma Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Milton and Velma Chlotine Crain. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her brothers, Freeman (Shelia) Crain and Bo (Connie) Crain; beloved nephew, Nick (Julie) and great nephew, Everett “Rett“; nephew, Darrell Crain; niece, Regena (Crain) Cobb (Jeff) and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank some very special ladies who loved Norma Sue, and became a family amongst themselves throughout the years, Linda Gilmore, Carolyn Patterson, Pam Jones, Bonnie Dominick, JoAnn Quaid, Molly Branch and Susan Kornfeuhrer.
