Norma Cummings

Norma Cummings, 88 of Bellefontaine passed away Friday, January 9th, 2026 at Campbell Place in Bellefontaine.

Norma was born July 6, 1937 in Clermont County, OH to the late Omer and Erma Belle (Liming) Watson, she had 7 siblings who have all preceded her in death. On December 31, 1955 in Kenton, OH she married Robert L. Cummings Sr., who preceded her in death.; loving companion, Fred W. Endsley.

On Dec. 31, 1955, she married Robert Cummings of Kenton and they enjoyed a full and

joyous life together for 45 years before he passed away in 2001. Norma was fortunate to find love and companionship again for another happy 18 years with Fred Ensley who preceded her in death in 2022.

For 16 years, Norma worked at Associates Financial Services in Bellefontaine before

taking her most beloved position in the community as a friendly and warm bank teller at

Huntington National Bank for 21 years. She took great pride in serving her community in this role, always greeting her regular visitors with a smile and a chat. Norma was also a proud member of the Harold Kerr Post 173, American Legion in Bellefontaine.

Her family was Norma's heart and soul. She greatly enjoyed hosting family gatherings

with Robert and always did her best to cater to the needs of others. In her retirement, she

enjoyed learning to square dance with Fred. Anyone who knows Norma also knows her favorite pastime was watching the squirrels and redbirds in her backyard. She took special care of those animal visitors as well as the three dachshunds she had over the years with Robert.

For the last 4 years, Norma resided at Campbell Place in Bellefontaine. Her family would

like to recognize and thank the Campbell Place staff and Interim Hospice care team that

provided Norma with quality care, attention and thoughtful well-being throughout the entirety of her time with them.

She is survived by one son, Robert (Karol) Cummings Jr. of Belle Center; two

grandchildren, Jeff (Monica) Webb of Grand Rapids, MI and Molly (Mark) Amidon of

Bellefontaine; two great-grandchildren, Blythe and Eve Webb and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Bellefontaine Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Norma's name to the Bellefontaine American Legion.
