Norma Lee Enevoldsen

Norma Lee Warman was born on March 15, 1939, in Riverside, California. Norma was the first of Lester and Verda Warman's 3 children. As a young child, she talked about playing the piano in the window of her father's music store for hours. She graduated from Colton High School in Colton, California and attended two years at Valley College in San Bernardino, California. Playing piano in a local jazz band was one of the highlights of her teenage years. Her passion for music, especially the piano and the flute, led to her career as a piano and flute teacher. Over the years, she taught music lessons to hundreds of students of all ages. She loved playing with the Rose City Flute Choir, King's Choral Ambassadors, Clackamas Bible Church, and the Vancouver Pops. She faithfully attended the Jazz Festival at the Oregon Coast.
Her faith was also a central part of her life. She was involved in her church both as a musician and a congregation member. Church is where she met Stanley Enevoldsen. She and Stan brought together and raised 5 children. She cared for her son Michael from the day he was born, until he died at the age of 52. She loved her family dearly and was an instrumental part of keeping the family together for every holiday and major event. Even her family who lived hundreds of miles away were always in her thoughts and prayers.
She was someone who loved people. She knew almost everyone and considered them a friend. Her prayer list was long, and she prayed for each of the many people on it daily. If she knew you, you were likely in her prayers.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Verda Warman; daughter, Deborah; son, Michael; nephew, Rodney; son, Anthony; and sister-in-law, Pam. She is survived by her husband, Stanley; brothers, Harold (Chalone) and David; daughters, Robyn (Gary) and Phyllis (James); granddaughters, Chantelle (Jeremiah), Sarah (Rye), Shelby, Misti (Dustin), and Lindsey; and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Carter, Noelle, Cooper, Hayden, Alex, Gabriel, Braden, Violet, Ian, Caiden, and Scarlet.
