Norma Erickson Obituary

My mother, Norma J Erickson, passed away on March 23, 2026, after a brief illness. She was 87 years old.

She is survived by her son, Eric W Erickson, his wife, Victoria W. Erickson and her granddaughter, Sara E Erickson. She was predeceased by her husband, Lanny D. Erickson and her parents, Rose Frost and William O. Frost.

Norma was an avid gardener and was a long-time member of the Pinole Garden Club where she was a past president. She also became involved at a state level as the Director of Bay Bridges District and other positions. She loved her time in Garden Club and all of their events. She loved to travel with my father and by far, Maui Hawaii was her favorite, she loved flowers and fresh food. She also enjoyed her travels around the world from New York to Australia/New Zealand. Her and my Dad loved the Monterey area and Cambria on the Central Coast. When they had enough of the Bay Area, they moved to Cambria. Norma made her final move to Cleveland, Tennessee where she enjoyed her time in the country. She was an awesome Mom and I could not have asked for a better woman to raise and love me. She loved my wife, Victoria, which made our relationship even stronger. Norma just loved her granddaughter, who she was able to live with for several years and got to know her even better which she loved. With her memory not working as it once had, she always remembered to ask how Sara was doing. Mom, you will always be with me in my heart, Love you.

There are no events planned, as she did not wish to have services.

You may make a donation to Beautify Cambria in Norma's honor as an alternative to flowers.
