Norma Jean Gastin, age 81, of Jackson, formerly of Logan, Ohio, passed away October 10, 2025, at Maple Hill Care Center, McArthur, Ohio.
Norma was born April 27, 1944, in Starr Township, Ohio to Frank W. Gastin and Fanny C. Wolfe Gastin. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, renovation shows, and the news.
Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Barney, Michelle (Gary) Miller, and Heather (J.J.) Gastin; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cathy Robson, Mary Hall, Mark (Cindy) Gastin, and Mike Gastin; and many nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Sonny Robson and John Hall; and nephew Tim Roach.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Wade Swickard officiating. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed 2-5 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the funeral home.
