Norma J. Hagloch, age 92, of Delaware, Ohio and formerly of Dover, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Willow Brook Christian Village.
She was born November 25, 1931, to Fred H. Ickes and Margaret (Fetters) Ickes of Midvale, Ohio. Norma graduated from Midvale High School, Class of 1949. She retired in 1990 from Buehler's in New Philadelphia after 19 years of service. Norma was a former member of St. Paul Ruslin Hills Church of Dover. She was a volunteer for many years at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio and delivered Meals on Wheels to the elderly.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Janet (Tim) Cain of Ashley, Ohio; sons, Paul Hagloch and Mark Hagloch of Dover, Ohio; grandsons, Louey (Tracy) Hagloch of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Dominic (Missy) Hagloch of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Kyle (Jessica) Cain of Delaware, Ohio and Nathan (Lindsey) Cain of Ashley, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Allen Hagloch; daughter, Cindy Hagloch; son, Chuck Smitley; sisters, Alice Ickes and Hazel Jecmen; brother, Junior Ickes.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015 and on Friday, April 19, 2024, from noon – 1:30 p.m. at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, 803 North Wooster Avenue, Dover, Ohio 44622 with a funeral service taking place at 1:30 p.m. Graveside ceremony will immediately follow at Dover Burial Park, Dover, Ohio.
