June 7, 1930 - April 23, 2023
Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mrs. Norma Harper Howsare, 92, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at White Oak Manor - York.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will follow the service in Forest Hills Cemetery, Old York Road, Rock Hill. Visitation with family and friends will be at the funeral home, prior to the service from 12:30pm until 1:45pm.
Born in Thomas, WV, Mrs. Howsare was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Harper and the late Katy Amelia Allen Harper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Ray Howsare; brothers, Luther Lee Harper, and John Webster Harper; her sister, Una Joan Crawford.
Mrs. Howsare is survived by two sons, David (Melinda) Howsare of Bedford, PA, and Steven Howsare of Rock Hill, SC; two daughters, Deborah Howsare of Graham, NC, and Karen H (Michael) Rawls of Rock Hill, SC; three sisters, Jackie Valentine of Bedford, PA, Patricia Jane (Harvey) Tew of Everett, PA, and Joy Kay (Jerry) Potts of Artemus, PA; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.
