Norma J. (Kilburg-McCarty) Jackson,87, of Bellevue, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue.
Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bellevue. Visitation will be 9:00 am – 10:30 am, prior to Mass at Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue.
Norma was born November 13, 1938, the daughter of Joe and Gertrude (Barth) Kilburg. She married Marvin McCarty, later she married Wayne A. Jackson on December 20, 1969, he passed on August 21, 2023. Norma worked at Ensign Coil Company 1972-2000, Bellevue Community Schools 2002-2008, and then St.Joseph’s School 2008-2017 before retiring. She loved attending her grandchildren’s extracurricular events, bowling, word puzzles, and volunteering for school hot lunch.
Survivors include her children, Kathy McCarty, Nancy (Dan) Yaddof, Carolyn (Ken) Laxson, Marilyn Atkinson, Dennis (Dawn) Jackson, and Mike (Nicole) Jackson; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings; Dwain (Barb) Kilburg, Rick (Rita) Kilburg, Lois Klein, Doris (Ronald) Ambrosy; sisters in-law, Beverly Sullivan, and Janice Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended relatives.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Rita Mae (Clyde) Ties; in-laws, Cletus Klein, Bernard Sullivan, Virgil Jackson, and Rosalee (Richard) Schlecht.
The family would like to thank Mill Valley and Hospice of Jackson County for your care and support.
A memorial fund has been established in Norma’s memory.
