Norma Jacobs Jacobs Obituary
Norma Jacobs (nee Gitlin) of Penn Valley, PA and Delray Beach, FL passed on June 18, 2025.
Norma was the beloved wife of the late Harvey Jacobs; the loving mother of Michael Jacobs (Shiho Kato) and Jill Jacobs Cohen (Joshua Cohen); the adoring grandmother of Hannah Cohen and Sophie Cohen; and the devoted sister of the late Harvey Gitlin and late Maxine “Micki” Gitlin. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Sunday June 22, 2025, 12:30 PM, at Congregation Beth Am Israel, 1301 Hagys Ford Road, Penn Valley, PA 19072. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill West Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Those who are unable to join in person may watch via Zoom using the following link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/593958909#success (Password 1301).
Following services, Shiva will be observed at the Oak Hill Condominiums Social Clubhouse, 1660 Oakwood Drive, Penn Valley, PA 19072. There will be signs in the complex to direct drivers to the Clubhouse.
Shiva will continue at the Clubhouse on Monday from 4 PM to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Norma’s memory may be made to Temple Lung Center (https://www.templehealth.org/services/lung/about/giving-to-temple-lung-center).
