Norma Lepore of Montrose, NY (formerly of Yonkers and Wurtsboro) passed away on Monday November 24, 2025 at the NYS Veteran's Home in Montrose after residing there for four and a half years. She was 102 years of age.
The daughter of the late Fiore Cerone and Silvia Landi Cerone, she was born October 28, 1923 in the Bronx. She was widowed by her loving husband who she adored (Dominick Lepore Sr.), who predeceased her on November 10, 2001.
Norma was a devout Catholic, warm and caring to all she met. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her sister Rita Gerstle (95 years of age); two sons (Joseph and Dominick Lepore Jr.); two daughters (Anna Lepore Quattrochi and Nicole Lepore Bicknese), along with their spouses (Andrea Lepore, Anthony Quattrochi and Eric Bicknese). In addition, she is survived by eight grandchildren: Danielle (John Hayes), Michael Lepore, Troy (Rachel Lepore), Damon Quattrochi, Derek (Janice Bicknese), Avery Lepore and Dylana Bicknese; and seven great grandchildren: Alexandra, Riley and Madelyn Hayes, and Grayson, Liam and Henry Quattrochi; along with her newest great grandchild: Reese Harper Lepore.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 2, 205 at St. Jsoeph's Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the NYS Veteran's Home at Montrose, NY c/o Eagles Point, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
