Norma Lopresti Obituary
Norma was born on May 1, 1952 in Nazareth. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mary (Pearson) Hartzell.
She is a graduate of Nazareth Area High School, Class of 1970 and Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, DE, AA Medical Secreterial and Honor Graduate in 1972. She was a medical transcriptionist for St. Luke's Hospital and various physicians throughout her career. She loved her family, friends, animals, 45 records and jukeboxes. Norma always said her most important contribution to this life was her son, daughter and her grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, mimi, and friend.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Wayne; son, Jonathan and his wife, Adrienne of Nazareth; daughter, Megan Wilder of San Francisco, CA; and three grandchildren, Emma and Dean Lopresti, and Victoria "Tori" Kennedy. She is also survived by a sister, Marion (Hartzell) Fries of Nazareth and a brother, Robert Hartzell of Nazareth.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 28, 2025 in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, 2165 Community Drive - Bath (Village of Moorestown), PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to a calling hour on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Belfast Union Cemetery in Nazareth. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma's name may be made to The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, #9558, Williams Township, PA 18042.

I enjoyed watching Norma zip around the farm on the quad with the trailer, starting the biggest fires you have ever seen!!!! She was a wonderful hostess at the Windy Hill Octoberfest. She created trails for the boarders to ride along and told stories about all the Airbnb mishaps. My favorite memory- she was riding the quad and Wayne ran beside her- racing the quad

Norma left everyone around her with love and caring. She was a great person inside and out and will truly be missed. She could always make you laugh and she herself had a very contagious laugh. Fly high with the angels sweet lady. Prayers and so very sorry for your loss.

She was an early life friend (age 6) walking to the local elementary school which was near her house. While I missed our last high school reunion, I did see her at the prior one, fortunately. Sympathies to her family. I would bet she is being greeted by many patients and doctors grateful for her transcription work when the docs had no clue about computer screens.

Some of my fondest memories of Nazareth come from Norma with our visits and field trips for genealogical research, as well as attendance at Hartzell-Frantz reunions. Who will play that funky music now from that strange, handmade instrument, a cross between a drum, cymbal, banjo, etc.? I envision Norma in heaven punching the celestial jukebox to play an old 45 of music from a near forgotten time of our youth.

A shining star, a bright light, a true inspiration; this is my childhood friend Norma. We had fun times as kids and I am so grateful that we were able to re-connect and talk about old times and how we will never forget singing the songs from "The Sound of Music".

Dear Megan and family,
My deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear mother. I always enjoyed talking with her. She was such a sweet woman. I also appreciate a photo of one white daisy in a field of rose colored ones that she had taken and given to me, saying it reminded her of Joe. That framed photo is on a shelf in his bedroom to this day.
