Ms. Parker was born July 22, 1945, in Stanly County, NC to the late John A. Wise and Lucy H. Wise. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick D. Parker, Sr.; a son, Patrick D. Parker, Jr.; a sister, Rachel Walton and brother, Melvin Wise.
Norma's life was filled with loving and helping others. She was a "stay at home" mother, nurturing and loving to her two children. Once her children were in high school, she started working as the lunch room cashier and crossing guard at North Albemarle Elementary School. She touched the lives of children during her years at the school. Norma was always ready and willing to serve in her church, Oak Grove Baptist, where she was an active member from her childhood throughout her life. Her husband was the joy of her life, along with her children, granddaughters and great-grandsons.
She will be greatly missed on this side! But we know she is enjoying her many rewards in heaven, her body and mind is healed. She is now reunited with the love of her life, and her son, Little Pat and her Savior, walking those street of gold. To God be the Glory!
