Norma Ann Puffenbarger Rines

Norma Ann Puffenbarger Rines, 81, of Bridgewater, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026.
She was born on August 17, 1944 and was a daughter of the late Charlie Emmett and Lena (Simmons) Puffenbarger.
Norma had worked at Walkers, High's and 7-11 where she retired in 2008. She was a member of St. Jacob's (Spaders) Lutheran Church, where she had played the piano. She enjoyed needle arts.
Norma was united in marriage to Richard Donald Rines.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Amy Turner & husband David, and A. Keith Rines; two grandchildren, Quinn Turner, and Xander Turner.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Matheny.
A service celebrating Norma's life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM at St. Jacob's (Spaders) Lutheran Church with Rev Don Hawks officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgewater Rescue Squad, PO Box 268, Bridgewater, VA 22812.
