Norma Renee Quinn was born on, January 14, 1964, in
Toledo, Ohio, to the late Lemuel Quinn Sr. and Sarah Gladys Quinn. From the very beginning, Norma was full of life, personality, and fire. As a youngster, she embraced the joys of dancing, singing, skating, crocheting, drawing - and, as the family would joke, fighting too. At just 12 years old, she gave her life to Christ, planting the spiritual roots that would follow her throughout her journey.
Norma was married to Garry Brazzel Sr. and later divorced with whom she shared three of her five children. Beyond her own children, she opened her heart and home to many of her nieces and nephews, often serving as a mother figure to those who needed her love and guidance.
Norma was known for her unforgettable humor, bold personality, and her famously "interesting taste in men." If Norma was in the room, laughter was guaranteed - whether from her sharp wit, her unfiltered honesty, or her hilarious storytelling. She lived life loudly and unapologetically. Norma also found community and adventure as a member of the Knight Rider and Ghost Rider Motorcycle Clubs.
In her final months, Norma once again reaffirmed her faith and gave her life back to Christ. With a clarity and strength that amazed those around her, she made all decisions concerning her transition. Her greatest desire was for her family to have peace and not be burdened by her passing. She departed this life on January 6, 2026, at the age of 61.
