Norma F. Raiha

Norma F. Raiha, age 83, of Woodhaven, Michigan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Symphony Applewood Nursing Center in Woodhaven, Michigan.
Born on February 6, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Howard and Margaret (Buergin) Peters. On August 22, 1966 she married her loving husband Lawrence Raiha in Toledo, Ohio.
Norma was a dedicated member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, and The Red Hats. She was known for her loving, caring, and devoted nature. The community remembers Norma for the love she showed the children in her neighborhood as she cared for many of them while their parents worked. Norma also created the blood donation drives at her church, and she worked for them for many years to ensure she could help as many people as possible. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, among many other gracious titles she so deserves.
Norma was preceded in death by her father, Howard Peters, mother Margaret Peters, brother Robert Peters and brother William Peters.
She is survived by her loving husband Lawrence Raiha, her sister Carolyn Krieg, her daughter Vicki Attaway and her husband Jesse, her son Todd Raiha, and her beloved grandchildren Jonas Raiha and Nicholas Nolan.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00 am. Rev. Emily Werner will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, or Red Cross.
