It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Norma Isabel Ramirez, at the age of 56. She was born on September 22, 1968, the daughter of Marcelino Rodriguez and Margarita Muniz.
Norma was born and raised in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas. She grew up amongst family and friends, in which she developed a strong sense of community and family values that she carried throughout her life.
Norma was a loving wife, mother, friend, grandmother, and cherished mother-in-law who touched many lives. She married her husband Martin Ramirez on 12/12/1987, and together they raised their three children. Her family was her life, and she always put their needs above her own. Norma was overjoyed to become a first-time grandmother to her grandson, whom she cherished deeply.
Norma loved to cook, organize family events, shopping, and dancing. Norma embraced new experiences, loved to travel, and enjoyed going to all types of festivals and concerts. Norma's enthusiasm for life was infectious and inspired those around.
Normas kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Norma leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience.
Norma is survived by: her loving spouse of 37 years, Martin Ramirez; oldest daughter, Ana (Manuel Lopez) Ramirez; her son, Jhonnatan (Olga Escamilla) Ramirez; youngest daughter, Ruth Martinez; and one grandson.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 N Michigan Avenue
Shelby, Michigan. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home; interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery of Shelby following services, with a luncheon immediately following at the Shelby Congregational United Church of Christ, 51 E 3rd St,
Shelby, MI 49455.
Con gran tristeza anunciamos el inesperado fallecimiento de Norma Ramírez, a la edad de 56 años. Norma fue una esposa amorosa, madre, amiga, abuela y querida suegra que tocó muchas vidas.
Norma nació y creció en Río Bravo Tamaulipas. Creció entre familia y amigos, desarrollando un fuerte sentido de comunidad y valores familiares que llevó consigo a lo largo de su vida.
Norma se casó con su esposo Martín Ramírez el 12/12/1987 y juntos criaron a sus tres hijos. Su familia fue su vida y siempre antepuso sus necesidades a las propias. Norma estaba encantada de convertirse en abuela por primera vez de su nieto, a quien adoraba profundamente.
A Norma le encantaba cocinar, organizar eventos familiares, ir de compras. Norma abrazaba nuevas experiencias, le encantaba viajar y disfrutaba ir a todo tipo de festivales y conciertos. El entusiasmo de Norma por la vida era contagioso e inspiraba a los que la rodeaban.
La amabilidad, sabiduría y apoyo incondicional de Norma serán recordados por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Norma deja un legado de amor, compasión y resistencia.
A Norma le sobreviven su amado esposo de 37 años: Martín Ramírez, su hija mayor Ana Ramírez y su pareja Manuel López y su nieto, su hijo Jhonatan Ramírez y su pareja Olga Escamilla, y su hija menor Ruth Martínez.
Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo en: Harris Funeral Home 267 N Michigan Avenue Shelby Michigan 49455 el dia Primero de Marzo, 2025, donde amigos y familiares podrán reunirse para celebrar su vida y apreciar los recuerdos que compartieron con ella.
