Norma Jane Sullivan

Norma Jane Sullivan, 59, of St. Stephens Church, VA and formerly of Bluefield, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at her home.

Born on August 6, 1965 in Raleigh, NC, she was a daughter of the late James and Betty Byrd Sullivan. She was a graduate of Bluefield High School and was retired from Hardees.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Brenda Shortridge and Teresa Watkins; and a niece, Rachel Watson.

Survivors include her son, William Lowe of Princeton, daughter, Betty and son in law Michael Akers, of St. Stephens Church, VA; brother, John Sullivan of Bluefield, WV, and 2 grandchildren, Madison and Zach; nieces, Jennifer Sullivan, and Christina Stasheen, Christine Sullivan; and nephews, Jonathan Sullivan and Jewell Watson, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Rick Mathena officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell with friends and family serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Friday, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
