Norma Wellman Obituary
She was born December 5, 1939, in Stewartsville, Missouri, daughter of Clarence Dale and Leona May (Austin) Holmes. On October 14, 1989, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas she married Charles Hamilton Wellman who preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri and had worked in customer service at auto parts stores most of her life.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Anderson and husband Dewayne, Braymer, Missouri; Kim Noland, Chillicothe, Missouri; Angela Sweaney, Chillicothe, Missouri; two step daughters, Sherry Christopher and husband Shan, Polo, Missouri; Ronda Stevens and husband John, Carrollton, Missouri; three step sons, Jeff Wellman and wife Melissa, Olathe, Kansas; Chris Wellman and wife Tammy, Carrollton, Missouri; Michael Wellman and wife Kelly, Carrollton, Missouri; a brother Clarence Wayne Holmes, St. Joseph, Missouri; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister Doris, her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Bittiker Funeral Home in Carrollton, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Micheal McBee, Jesse DePuy, Kole Anderson, Kohen Bailey, Malachi McBee and Landen Burns.
The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
