I had Mr. Bradley for several art history and painting classes. He made an art history lecture fun by mixing in personal stories, quirky sense of humor, and slides of places he had been. I learned about the artist/architect Antoni Gaudi, in one of these classes. His work intrigued me so much, I went to see these incredible buildings while in Spain. I always think of Norm when I see Guadi's work, and of course anything Pre-Columbian from Mesoamerica. Upon returning from Spain, he invited me to attend the spanish group Clase Clandestina. I was not fluent in spanish, but he was very encouraging, so we attended for a while. Thank you, Norm for your kindness. So sorry, Dixie.

I will miss Norm very much. I enjoyed his personality, his stories, his wisdom and humor, and his art. We had wonderful times in Spanish class, an amazing group of people that started learning together over 20 years ago. His love of Mexico and pre-columbian art opened up a new world for me. You will always be with us in spirit Normando!

I went back to school at IPFW in the mid-1980s. Studying painting in Norm Bradley's classes was my absolute favorite part of that experience. I will never forget his intelligence, warm sense of humor, and great talent. His was certainly a life to be celebrated. My heart goes out to you, Dixie!

Being only 8 years older than I, Norm was always sort of my favorite Uncle.

Norm was compassionate, intelligent and creative in equal measure. I will always admire the many ways in which he shared these gifts with all of us.

Norm Bradley was a gifted professor who was a prolific artist in possession of a keen mind and generous spirit. Many have learned from each of his talents. I include myself among the lucky ones to have called him both friend and colleague. Over the years I have learned from Norm's kindness, unwavering ethics and ability to instruct even when he wasn't intending to. Dixie, Doug and I send our love to you during this difficult time.

We've lost a fine artist who dipped into the abstract as well as representational worlds of art. Artlink will miss you, Norm, as one of the very few life-time members of Artlink and as a contributor of some pretty wonderful paintings to our exhibitions. Although our walls will never be bare, we'll miss that large, colorful piece on the main wall that was always there for you. Our love to Dixie.

I actually never met Norman but was connected via Facebook for Mexico City College, aka University of the Americas where i also was a student and shared his interests in pre-colombian history & art. I have Noman's book too "A Mesoamerican Odyseey" and have long enjoyed his artistis posting. Adios, amigo

I am Very sorry for the loss. Mr. Bradley was great all around. I enjoyed being his student. I doubt I could ever show my appreciation for my professors for their help and understanding enough. Mr. Bradley was the best.

For over 25 years Stan and I have been good friends with Norm and Dixie, sharing art, pictures, travel stories, dinners, and especially our beloved Spanish Class La Clase Clandestina. Having moved to Georgia two years ago, we have missed them and our class terribly, but two of Norm's paintings are in our hallway for all to see and appreciate; now they will have even more meaning and value to us. With love, thoughts and prayers.
