To the family of Kent, we the former teammates, shift-mates, work-friends and friends of Kent extend our prayerful thoughts to you. Kent was a solid man, a direct man and a great leader. He and many who he directly trained, taught, coached and listened to were made better by his good leadership and thoughts. From the days & nights with Coors then the all day/all nights work sessions with Hardy, he provided direction, safety and results for the plant, owners, and fellow employees. Thank you all for allowing and supporting Kent during those days & nights, he helped a lot of people stay gainfully employed, that helped their family. Again, be in good prayers and warm thoughts

Diane and Son, Mike and Sister, our loss is great, Kent was my friend and we mentored each other, to say it bluntly, I had such an influence on Kent as a young brewery employee, my message to him was that he had a higher and greater calling in life than being an hourly worker. I stayed on him till he went out and started him a business and went to school to become a supervisor/team leader and he succeeded in both endeavors and to prove to me that he was listening to me. He got laid off and was successful in getting his business going and made a trip out to the Brewery early one morning at 2:00 AM to show me his first $1000 check he had made and to ensure me that he took my advice. He furthermore told me that he had enrolled in school for management and supervisory training and he wanted me to help him become one and grow with the Brewery company. I did just that and the rest is history, every endeavor he wanted to do and in his supervisory capacity, he sought out my advice, and when I left, I made sure that he and Ronnie Miller were close and they never were far from each other for advice. He and Ronnie and I mentored each other to the utmost and as I write this message to the family, I say with pride, that Kent Couch was Nate Foster's, his former Assistant Packaging Manager at Schlitz/Stroh Brewing Company for 20+ years one of my BEST friends. We confided in each other and surprisingly he called me and told me that since I was not working and needed anything to call him. I never did nor will I ever forget this gesture. A sudden loss, all losses are sudden to us and I am so glad that we do not know the date that the Master will take us home, we just have to when He calls us answer to our Name. Sleep on my friend, yes I miss you now...... I know this is long, so was our friendship. May God give you all peace, remember, we had him far longer than we will be without him. Blessings...
