Norman D. Custard, of Omaha, survived by wife, Linda; children, Kevin, Kelly; family and friends.
Visitation, Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. at mortuary. Visitation, Saturday, 9 to 10 a.m. with Memorial Service 10 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2725 N. 60th Ave., Omaha. Memorials to Omaha Public Schools Foundation or Immanuel Lutheran Church.

I will always remember the last day of school at Central HS when Coach Custard rounded up 104 kids in a hot room to play for the 1st club sport softball in 1991. We had been told there was no interest there. He caused it to happen. So many wonderful times in pitching lessons with he and Kelly. Norm, you made so many kids dreams come true. You are legend. Thank you. On behalf of our old Central HS friend Sherman Poska & me, Peace to you and your wonderful family.
