Norman Ehni Obituary
Norman Theodore (Ted) Ehni, 91 of Bridgeport passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at WVU Medicine-Wheeling Hospital. He was born December 13, 1932, in Brookside, the son of the late Herman and Audrey (Conner) Ehni.
Ted was retired from Warwood Armature, a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Bridgeport, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he held the Vice-President and secretary position of the Bridgeport Boosters, "200 Club" President for 36 years, President of the Bridgeport Alumni, was one of the original members of the Funding for Gould Park, with the C.I.C., Bridgeport Eagles, Foresters Club, American Legion Post 227 holding the office of Trustee, IBEW Local 141-Elm Grove and was awarded the Bridgeport Alumni Spirit Award in 1984.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene (Nemeth) Ehni, and his sister, Marthalea (Ehni) Keller.
Left to cherish his memory are his son Mark Ehni of Brookside, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 2-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Full Military Honors will be presented here at the funeral home by the Belmont County Veterans Association at 10:45, Friday, March 15, 2024, followed by the funeral service at 11am officiated by Rev. David Demarest and Rev. James Hoff, with burial to follow at the Linwood Cemetery in Blaine, Ohio.
