On Friday morning the 19th of September, 2025, Norman "Bunky" Gowie passed away quietly and peacefully at the age of 73, with his loving wife at his side. Bunky was born in Salisbury, Maryland in 1952. On October 14th 2006, he married the love of his life, Cynthia, and moved to Lincoln, Delaware.

He worked as an industrial welder and maintenance mechanic for many years prior to his retirement. He loved to play guitar and sing and enjoyed many hobbies over the years including growing plants and flowers, motorcycling, building knives, models, and Legos. He shared his talent for building by completing small construction projects for family and friends. Bunky was a self-taught computer wiz with friends often bringing him technical issues to solve. Most of all, he loved God, his wife, family, and making people smile with his infectious sense of humor often sharing his witty "Bunkyisms" with those around him.

Bunky was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Gowie, Sr and Iva Rose Driscoll and his sister, Faith Bowden.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Cynthia; his daughters, Lydia Agosta and Kristin Werner and her husband, Zachery of Salisbury; a step-daughter, Juanite Morris of Milford; grandsons, Skyler, Marquise, Owen and Hudson; sister-in-law, Allison Morris and brother-in-law, Roy Bowden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
