I believe that Norman's obituary is the best I have ever read. I can't add much but to say that as a kid I met Norman through the Joyner family. He was about six years older than me. Whenever I was around Norman I felt secure and special. He was always attentive and kind. Whenever I came home on leave from the Navy I would always feel that I lucked out if I was able to "bump" into Norman. Will truly miss him. We would attend but for illness in our family. In the Navy we bid farewell "Fair Winds and Following Seas"..........God bless.

I´ve known Norman for 65 years and I never met a more loving soul.
Always there, made me laugh, and while some friends come and go, our friendship sustained throughout the years. He was truly one of a kind. I loved him and will miss his gentle, kind soul. So proud he found his true love Bobbie, and his faith, which endures in his beautiful family. My beautiful friend will be missed.
