For Norm's Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I work with Jan and also worked with Norm & Charlotte when the plant was called Crown Zellerbach in North Portland. I even go farther back as our family friend lived across the street from the Mahan Family and we all picked berries & beans together at Erickson Farms. When you see a sunset, a sunrise a falling star or a rainbow you are seeing me. Remember I will always be by your side walking by you and alwaays in you hearts forever. You are never alone. This day is remembered and quietly kept. We shall never forget, for those we love don't go away they walk beside us everyday. Unseen and unheard but always near so loved so missed and so very dear.

Dawn,
Remember Norm's 40th B-Day at the Prairie Tav? Last fist-a-cuffs I was in. Norm didn't like to think he was getting to be an "old" man...so he wasn't aking any "guff" from some youngsters. I think about him everytime I go past the Prairie.
Take Care and my thought are with you and the family, Joe

I will miss visiting with Norm. I have been feeding Norm and Larry for quite a few years at the Hockinson Cafe. You get to know people, their familys, and their pets. They get to be your friends. Norm had such a great sense of humor. We use to enjoy poking fun at Larry a bit and Larry dishing it back. I will miss Norm. A week before he passed I had the pleasure of seeing and waiting on Norm and family.I gave Norm a big hug, told him I loved him and I would see him soon. I cried when they left as I knew I would not see him again. My prayers will go out for his family. I am looking forward to seeing them. I am so sorry for our loss.

My favorite memory of Norm is: One evening as Dawn, Chris and I were sitting at the dining room table, admiring Dawn's latest creations, Norm and Jeff came into the house carrying a new kitchen counter that looked to be at least 10 feet long. I sat there amazed at how quickly the two of them got right to work, tearing out the old counter and putting in the new. Dawn seemed unfazed by it all but I knew she was pleased. I was touched by the fact that even though Norm had worked that day he still had the energy to come home, do something so nice and put an extra big smile on Dawn's face. I couldn't help but notice how such a thoughtful gesture brought so much happiness. Norm was one of the nicest men I had the pleasure to know. He was taken to soon. My heart is broken for Dawn, Jake, Jessie and their families. All of My Love to You, Pam
