Norman Condit Nield, 91, husband of Alta Allen Nield, died Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born May 30, 1933 in Boyle County, he was the son of the late James and Ethel Ross Nield.
He was a retired Trim Masters' employee, was a member of the Salt River Baptist Church and enjoyed word searches, crossword puzzles and playing guitar.
Survivors besides his wife include two daughters: Theresa (Mike) Robbins of Stanford and Donna (Billy) Bryington of Danville; four grandchildren: Jeremy (Rayna) Robbins, Matthew Robbins, Billy Joe (Emily) Bryington and Miranda Bryington; two great grandchildren: Jonah and Trezalyn Robbins; several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Kenny Nield; and two sisters: Margaret Weldon and Juanita Perry.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Dave Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Jeremy Robbins, Matthew Robbins, Billy Bryington, Billy Joe Bryington, Dale Allen and Mike Robbins serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
