It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Norman K. Nolden, 81, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home in York, PA. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Norman was born in York, and he was the son of the late Charles S. Nolden and Jeanette Giles- Nolden.
Mr. Nolden was a retired Veteran from the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War receiving a Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Nat'l Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Services Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/Device (1960). After his Military Service, he worked for the York County Sheriff's Office, Toomey Trucking Company and Owner of Norman's Place. He was also an active member of the VFW 556, Banderleros MC (Bel-Air, MD Chapter), former President of the Banderleros MC (Baltimore, MD Chapter).
Norman leaves to mourn his loss but cherish his memory daughters Norma Nolden-Peeples (Carl), Shirette Garry (Neff), Nautica Nolden, Kimberly Banks (Robert), and Michele Banks; sons Joseph Banks, and Phillip Banks; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his 10 siblings Margaret Nolden, Helen Murray, Elizabeth (Adams) Clemmons, John Nolden, Richard Nolden, Russell Nolden, Jameel Saahir, Joseph Nolden, Leroy Nolden and Theodore Nolden, his daughter Martha Martin (Ozzie), and granddaughter Tierra Stephens.
