Norman A. Richards of Blackwood passed away on Sunday April 27, 2025 at the age of 71. He was born in Camden on December 22, 1953 to the late Arnold and Mabel Richards and had resided in Maple Shade for many years. Norman proudly served his country in the US Air Force serving from 1973-1995, and retiring as MSGT, after which he went to work for Access Link as a driver and then a dispatcher. He took pleasure in mowing his lawn and working in his yard. He enjoyed watching TV and spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren. Norman loved his sweets, cheesecake, cookies and ice cream.
Beloved husband of the late Linda Richards (nee Woods), loving father of Kelly Ann Richards and Norman "Butch" Richards, cherished grandfather of Olivia, Benjamin III, Jeffrey, Abigail and Logan, father-in-law of Benjamin, Jr., dear brother of Bruce (the late Linda) Richards, Helen Richards, Donna (Ken) Webb and Rebecca (George) Baals, dear brother-in-law of Mike and Lisa Woods, Danny and Lisa Woods, Ed and Kate Woods, Don and Dee Woods, Alberta Jeffries, Barbara Narciso, James and Nancy Jeffries and special uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Tuesday May 6th, 10-11 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. His funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
