Norman D. Watson, 77, Augusta, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 in Wichita. Viewing Thursday 6-8 pm and Service 10 am Friday, October 10, 2025, all at Headley Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Norman was born in Wichita on October 28, 1947, to the late Ethel (Rickerson) and James Watson. He retired from Beech and worked as an auto mechanic most of his life. Norman enjoyed hunting and fishing. On February 25, 1968 he married Ruth (Taylor) at the First Baptist Church in Augusta and she survives him. He is also survived by: daughters Michelle Watson; and Teresa Pickarts and husband Marcus all of Augusta; sisters, Edna Cox of Kimberling City, MO, Ann Simon of Augusta, Sharon Simon and husband Kenny of Douglass, Jeanie Copeland of Augusta, Gayle Nevitt of Emporia; sister in law Diane Watson; grandchildren, Sarena Schneider (Jon), Kyle Morris (Shelby), Laiken Cody (Tanner), Logan Linot, Lenexa Crouch (Bryce), and Gage Pickarts; great grandchildren Raelyn Schneider, Bryson Cody, Brekklyn Cody, and Walker Crouch. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jim, Bob, Joe and Phillip Watson; and sisters, Karen Nance and Joyce Watson.
