Nova Domitrz Obituary
Nova Violene Domitrz "Powell", age 88 of Rockwood, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025.
Beloved wife to her late husband, Ted of 66 years. Devoted mother to Teddi (Joseph) Hendrickson. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Estel Powell, Deliah Solesbee, and Lyman Powell. She was also well loved by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Nova was a proud retiree of McClouth Steel Plant in Trenton, MI where she worked along with her late husband. She very much enjoyed her time with Rockwood Beautification Club as a gardener and as a manager for Rockwood Community Center. She enjoyed crocheting/sewing. Her favorite times were going to movies with her family.
She will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Ford Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Funeral service will start when visitation concludes at 12:00 pm. She will be buried next to Ted at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holy, MI.
