On February 9, 2025, Pat went home to be with our Lord and Savior.
Pat was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 6, 1941, to Woodrow and Mary Lou Patterson.
He was employed for 43 years with CertainTeed Fiberglass Company, but his true love was music. He taught himself to play drums, and played in many night clubs in both Missouri and Kansas. While playing, he met the love of his life, Sharon Basinger. They were married on November 3, 1979.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty, Rose and Dorothy, and two sons, Scott in 2022 and Jerry in 2024.
Pat leaves behind his loving wife, Sharon, daughter-in-law, Tiffany Basinger, grandsons Noah and Derek Basinger, and grand-daughters Sarah Smith, Jessica Saiz, Hope Davis, and Lilly Hinnen, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Donations to Olathe Hospice House are welcomed.
