TAYLOR, Oakley Lee, 87, of Mechanicsville, departed this life January 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Rose Booker (Alphonso); 10 grandchildren, a host of great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Florine Carter (James); one brother, Lewis Coleman; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Bell; one brother-in-law, Raymond Taylor; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 17, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Funeral services 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Springfield Baptist Church, 7226 Creighton Rd. Rev. Dr. Don Hayes officiating. Interment Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
