Odalis Almarales Hernandez

Odalis Almarales Hernandez, age 64, of Orlando, Florida, entered eternal rest on February 3, 2026.

Born in Cuba, Odalis discovered her passion for music at an early age and built a meaningful career as a piano teacher, generously sharing her talent and love of music with countless students. Her life was marked by dedication, discipline, and a deep commitment to nurturing others. After moving to the United States, she continued to live a life rooted in family, service, and compassion.

Odalis was a devoted wife, loving daughter, and proud mother and grandmother. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family and supporting those she loved with quiet strength and grace.

She is survived by her parents, Candida Hernandez and Arquimides Almarales; her beloved husband, Orestes Mariano Peña Tamayo; her sons, Elian Hernandez Almarales and his wife Annia Peña, and Elias Peña Almarales; and her treasured grandchildren, Evelyn Hernandez, Ashley Hernandez, and Ethan Hernandez.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Magalis Almarales, Amarilis Almarales, and Idalmis Almarales; her uncle, Veralia Hernandez; and her cousin, Iliana Gomez, along with many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Iglesia Adventista Hispana Orlando, located at 445 North Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32807.

Burial will take place following the service, approximately 2:30 PM, at DeLand Memorial Gardens, 600 E. Beresford Avenue, DeLand, Florida.
