Okim Davis, a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, in Marietta, Georgia, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 19, 1940, Okim lived a life defined by kindness, devotion, and unwavering care for those she loved.
A cherished member of SGI/USA, Okim’s faith guided her daily life and strengthened her deep commitment to family. She found joy and peace in tending her beautiful garden, where vibrant flowers and fragrant herbs reflected her nurturing spirit, patience, and creativity.
Okim’s love for the outdoors was only surpassed by her love for her family. She will be deeply missed by her grandson, Justin Davis; his wife, Rachel; and their children, Jameson and Noa Davis; as well as by her granddaughter, Sheena Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; her daughter-in-law, Sung Nihiser of Texas; and her beloved sisters and brother in South Korea.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Davis, and her sons, Song Sak Davis and Song Hak Davis.
After a life filled with love, resilience, and devotion, Okim now rests in peace. Her memory, wisdom, and gentle presence will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved her.
A service to celebrate Okim's life will be held at Hillcrest Memorial, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA 30906, on Saturday, December 27th at 1PM.
