Mrs. Ola Mae Harrell, what a precious & Godly Lady!! We are so very thankful to have known her & we thank the Lord for the blessing of her life & love. She will be missed on this earth but we rejoice in knowing that now, she 'looks full in HIS WONDERFUL FACE!' Our prayers are for her beautiful family, that the LORD will be near them & comfort their hearts with HIS tender mercies.

Lovingly,
Rick & Priscilla Hammer

Ed,
We are saddened to hear of Ola's passing. You never left her out of your speaking engagements describing her as the 'beautiful brunette' that you left behind when you went off to serve in the USMC. No doubt Ola served as your inspiration to press on during your days fighting the elements and sharks while bobbing in the Pacific.
We thank God that He was watching over you and your 316 surviving shipmates as help arrived just in time! We have you and your family in our prayers, and know that God will see you through your time of grief. May God be with you my friend and brother in Christ!

Mrs. Ola Mae Harrell was the most beautiful woman to talk to. We would see her every two weeks at Sango Salon getting her hair styled. We always checked to see how she was feeling that day. We will miss her so much. She made our day brighter. She will be in our hearts forever. Our deepest sympathy to Ola's family. God Bless.
