Olga Loera Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Halley Olsen Chapel of The Valley - Palmdale on Jan. 17, 2026.
In loving memory of

Olga Lidia Loera

05/05/1963-1/12/2026

Olga Lidia Loera was born in Nayarit, Mexico. She came to the United States at just 17 years young, carrying with her a strong spirit, a loving heart, and the determination to build a beautiful life for her family. She worked extremely hard to continue to support her family back in Mexico.

She married the love of her life, Graciano Loera, and together they raised their 5 children, Omar Loera, Hugo Loera, Areli Loera, Janely Loera, and Olga Loera. Olga was a devoted wife and an extraordinary mother who gave endlessly of herself, always putting everyone first.

Olga was full of love and life. She loved deeply and openly, not only her kids but her 24 grandchildren, her only great grandkid, and all those who lovingly called her "Grandma," many of whom she cared for as if they were her own. Her home and heart were always open, and she treated everyone with kindness, warmth, and compassion, including those not related to her.

Olga was full of life; she loved to sing and dance, especially with a beer on her head. Those who knew her knew how much she enjoyed life. Let's not get started on her cooking. Olga loved to cook and was an extraordinary cook. Everyone loved her home-cooked meals, and everyone would always try to get her recipes, but despite how much they tried, no one could get it right like her. Thank you for showering us with all your love and knowledge and showing us all those amazing memories and recipes that we will forever keep.

At the young age of 36, Olga was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis, a challenge she faced with strength and grace. Later, at 60 years old, she was diagnosed with ALS, a progressive disease that tested her in unimaginable ways. Through it all, Olga remained strong, courageous, and full of love. She fought bravely until her very last breath.

Sadly, we lost our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on January 12, 2026, at just 62 years young. She leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, resilience, and selflessness that will live on through her family and all those lives she touched.

Olga will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will live forever in our hearts.
