Olga C. Morrison, 98, of Hibbing, Minn., passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Hillcrest of Nashwauk, Minn.

She was born on May 23, 1927, to Massimo and Angeline (Taramelli) Cicchi in Hibbing and graduated from Hibbing High School in 1945. She worked at Feldman's Department Store, Sears, and Montgomery Ward and attended Hibbing Junior College, working toward a music degree. Olga married James Morrison in 1948 and together they moved to Madison, Wis., until Jim finished his mining engineering degree at UW-Madison. They returned home and were married for 68 years. Olga was deeply involved in the Hibbing community. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church as the chairwoman at one time, a volunteer for Hospital Auxiliary, Secretary of Circles, and Deacon for many years. Olga's interests were many. She loved to bake, cook Italian food, knit, crochet, teach and play the piano. She was an avid reader and bridge player as she was part of a book club and several bridge clubs, as well as a sewing club. She taught piano lessons in their Grayser area home for many years. In 2015, Olga and Jim moved to Real Life COOP in Hibbing and enjoyed their many close friends there.

Olga is survived by her sons Curtis (Nancy Bakeman) Morrison, Donald (Verlynn) Morrison, son-in-law Larry Moore, sisters-in-law Doris and Joy Cicchi, grandchildren Hollie Larson, Jodi (Matt) Helander, Katie (Allen) Lenz, Adam (Nicolette Janke) Morrison, Laura (Shawn) Gerlach, Jack (Erin) Morrison, Kelly (Jesse Noyes) Bakeman, Connor (Morgan) Bakeman, Nathan and Nicole Moore, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, daughter Paula Moore, brothers David and Raymond Cicchi.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Hillcrest Nashwauk and St. Croix Hospice for their loving care. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
