I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Copeland's passing. I only knew him for a few years in the nineties but he left a lasting impression. He was a great and interesting man, and the world is darker without him in it.

The Measure of this man to me, is the conduct expoused by his Family. Oliver, May God in his infinite wisdom, assuage the grief felt by you today, with the comfort that His way is the Truth and the Shining Light through tomorrow and the Days to come, at the Right hand of His Father in the Kingdom of Heaven. You are your Father's Son, and that comforts me.

To Fannie, Children, Lillie, Rose & Paul
Oliver was my daddy's first cousin. The last time I saw him was at a basketball game last winter - Petersburg High vs. Highland Springs. I'm so happy my family and I just happened to take a seat right in front of him and "Doc". It was a good time for us and a good night, especially for HSHS!
As you remember your husband, daddy, granddaddy, brother and as we all remember our cousin, let us thank God for the 81 years he lived; let us remember the sense of family he held close...let us remember the good times as we honor his memory.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. -- John 3:16.

Was a great man. His kind and loving spirit will always be remembered. He always had something kind to say whenever I saw him. He was a great man. Hold onto God's promises. You will see him again.
