Oliver Ramon Sanchez

Oliver Ramon Sanchez, 29, of Waukegan passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan. He was born October 21st, 1992, in San Nicolas de los Garza Nuevo Leon Mexico.
He was a runner who enjoyed Cross Country and Track, an avid reader, writer and Artist. Oliver was an incredible son, brother, uncle, lover of Philosophy and Arts. A best friend to many who gave so much to others and never asked for anything in return. An aspiring author, poet and storyteller who worked a daily job as a FedEx driver. A man with the soul and smile of a child and a noble heart.
He will be dearly missed by his Father J Ramon Sanchez, mother Concepcion Najera de Sanchez, brother Edgar Sanchez, sister Christian Smetana, brother in law John Smetana, nephew Edgar Alexander Sanchez, and niece Belen Smetana; extended family and countless friends.
Oliver's visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. His funeral service will be held Saturday September 3, 2022, with a viewing at 9:00 am followed by mass at 10:00 am at St Anastasia Catholic Church, 624 Douglas Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. This will be followed by burial at Pine View Memorial Park 10750 W. Beach Road, Beach Park, IL 60087.
