Olivia Edmundson Nevins

OLIVIA EDMUNDSON NEVINS, age 67 of Manassas, Virginia died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Nevins was the daughter of the late R.J. and Lutoria Edmundson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ret. Major William J. Nevins and one brother, Richard Edmundson. Mrs. Nevins was a graduate of the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and a retired Program Manager for the office of Information Management, Office of Environment, Safety and Health, with the U.S. Department of Energy. She was Operations Manager for TERA Corporation and Senior Consultant for Trident Systems. She also served as President of the Officer's Wives Club (OWC) during her husband's service in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an active volunteer throughout her life. Survivors include three daughters, Susan Hill and husband Ron of North Branch, MN, Donna Nevins of Jersey City, NJ and Dianne Nevins of Boone, NC; one sister, Carol Belin of Clearfield, PA; one sister-in-law, Percy Edmundson of Greensboro, NC and one grandson, Christian Reye Nevins of Boone, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where condolences will be shared at 7:00 P.M. The funeral liturgy will be offered 12:00 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2005 at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Fremont United Methodist Church, 106 N.
