Mercedes, Texas - Olivia Rodriguez, 75, passed away to be with the Lord on September 21, 2024, peacefully at her residence.
Ms. Rodriguez was born on October 19, 1948, in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas to Mr. Margarito Avila & Mrs. Felipa Campos.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Margarito Rodriguez, her son Hugo Leonel Rodriguez and her brothers Ernesto and Alfredo Avila.
Olivia Rodriguez is survived by Her sons; Huriel (Gabriella), Ezequiel (Claudia) Rodriguez, and Jose Luis Rodriguez, her daughters; Griselda Rodriguez, Nancy Rodriguez, Belinda (Braulio) Rodriguez and Maribel Rodriguez, her brothers; Rodolfo Avila, Porfirio Avila and Margarito Avila, her sisters Sofia Avila and Ofelia Avila, numerous grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Olivia Rodriguez is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of the Grace. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, September 27,2024 at 1:00 PM at San Martin de Porres in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
