Ollie Shell Chuculate was born on April 12, 1946, and passed away on November 27, 2025. She spent all 79 years of her life in the Bunch area, a place she deeply loved and called home. She was a devoted member of Chuculate Baptist Church, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.
Ollie found joy in simple and meaningful moments: tending to her flower garden, cooking for those she loved, and spending cherished time with her family. She rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on her children and grandchildren at their ballgames. She delighted in weekend yard sales, especially running into old friends, and enjoyed peaceful country drives. She treasured every moment with her beloved cat, “Tina Turner.”
She is survived by her four children: Raymond “Butch” Shell and Georgia Bunch, both of Bunch, OK; Sonya Sevenstar and husband Ronald, of Bunch, OK; Rodney Dean Chuculate and wife Kendra, of Tahlequah, OK; and Joni Chuculate, of Glenpool, OK.
She leaves behind her grandchildren Raymond Jr., Kevin, Billy Jr., Christa, Abriauna, Michael Aaron, Nathan Dean, Treyton, Cayden, Kyronlee, and Shaylyn, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her love forward.
Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus Shell and Maggie Eagle; her spouse, Jim Chuculate; her brothers A.J. Eagle, Ben Eagle, and Robert Swake; and her sister, Lula Christie.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her kindness, and the love she poured into her family and community.
