Sulphur—Cremation Services for Omega (Clark) Lambert, 82, of Sulphur, will be held through cremation services arranged by Alexander Gray Funeral Home and Crematory. An inurnment of her ashes will take place at a later date at Lone Grove Cemetery in Lone Grove.
Mrs. Lambert was born on November 15, 1943, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to the late Carl Calvin Earl Clark and Mary Juanita (Walters) Clark. She peacefully departed this life on March 4, 2026, in Sulphur.
Growing up in the Ardmore and Provence area, Mrs. Lambert spent most of her life in Ardmore. She married Garland McCoy Lambert on July 1, 1967, in Ardmore. The couple moved to Wilson in 1991, and after Garland's passing in 2002, she relocated to Gene Autry to be closer to family. In 2005, she made her home in Sulphur. Though she primarily dedicated herself to being a devoted homemaker, Mrs. Lambert also worked as a housekeeper at the Adventist Hospital in Ardmore. She embraced her faith as a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Earlene, Mary, and Alpha; her brothers Billy Don and W.O. Clark; as well as her daughter, Melinda Sue McCarter.
She is survived by her daughter, Lawenda "Wendy" Melton and her husband Adrian; sons, Eddie Dale McPherson, Jr. and wife Debra Lynn, and Jerry B. Pool of Sherman, TX; grandchildren Justin Greenwood and wife Talisha, Tyler Smith, John Tharp, Rachelle Roe and husband Eddy, and Brian Tharp; and great-grandchildren Avery, Tammy Joe, Hunner, Axle, Rowen, and Zachariah, along with numerous other family members and friends.
