Omerest Allen Obituary
He was employed by Gates Concrete with over 30 years of dedicated service. He leaves memories to be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Helen Allen; children, Omerest Allen, Jr., William McKenzie, Jermaine Smith, Jameel Jones (Dominica), Renea Askew, Carrie Jones, Christie Jones Sheffield (Ken); sister, Sheryl Wright; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held in the mortuary on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00AM at New Colossians Missionary Baptist Church where he held membership, Pastor Ambrose Merkison, officiating. The final disposition of burial will be held in the Restlawn Cemeteries.
In the time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.
