Onelia Cabrera, age 92, of Mission Viejo, California, (originally Wyoming, Michigan) passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025. Onelia and her family came to the United States from Cuba in 1967. Onelia was a supportive wife, loving mother, and special friend. She expressed her love for her family by taking care of the home and loving on her kids. As a homemaker and excellent cook, she took care of her family by feeding them with delicious Cuban food.

Onelia was preceded in death by her husband, Cosme "El Chino" Cabrera; her parents, Epifanio Blanco and Margarita "Margot" Santamaria; brothers, Jesus Arnaldo Blanco and Adalberto Blanco. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Juan and Londa Cabrera, Ana and Fabio Argaez; grandchildren, Stephen and Kelli Cabrera, Phillip Cabrera, Matthew Cabrera, Andre and Ashley Argaez, Bryan and Brielle Argaez, Christina and Jeremiah Guliuzza; great-grandchildren, Daniela and Abel Cabrera, Elias, Daryn and Aveyn Argaez, Ava Mae Guliuzza; brothers, Fernando Santamaria, Evelsio and Mercedes Santamaria; sisters, Mercedes Santamaria-Fontaine, Ada Blanco-Peña; and many loved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A graveside burial will be held for immediate family on September 15 at El Toro Memorial Park, Lake Forest, California.
