Onette Ledford Obituary
Onette Ledford, 73, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the Stanton Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.
She was born June 25, 1950 to the late Dennis & Edna Wells in Hazard, KY. She enjoyed many things in life, including gardening, roses, watching Westerns (especially Gunsmoke), listening to gospel music, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived four children, Marcus & (Jessica) Baker, Elish Baker, Daniel Baker, and Libby Wiles; seven grandchildren, Melissa & (Tyler) Smith, Vanessa & (DB) Sumner, Michelle McCarty, Mitchell Baker, Kimberly Baker, Jacob Wiles, Michael Baker, John Lee Baker, and Ashley Baker; several great grandchildren; and six siblings, Raymond Wells, Frank Wells, Ellis Wells, Ronnie Wells, Omea Kelly Wells, and Carolyn Wells.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings, Eli Wells, Jeanette Wells, Archie Wells, Miranda Wells, Lisa Wells, Kenneth Wells, and Neal Wells; and a grandchild, Roger Baker.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2023 in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Robbie Everage officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until time for services at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Wells Cemetery.
