Onil J. Milliard

Onil Joseph Milliard, 83, beloved husband of Marie E. (Carm) Fongemie Milliard of East Haven passed away July 3, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Onil was born in Ste. Francois, New Brunswick, Canada on November 2, 1941 a son of Camille and Annette Oalos Milliard the second of ten children. Onil worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of North Haven for 30 years. He retired the summer of 2000. Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by his son, Lenn Roy Milliard, of East Haven. Brother of Edgar Milliard of Guilford; Guy (Jocelyn) Milliard of Madison; Donald Milliard, Mona Milliard and Odette (Jean) Levasseur all of Ste. Francois; Rina (André) Daigle of Edmunston, New Brunswick, Canada and the late Guillaume, Rejean and Normand Milliard. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Gail Milliard. Onil is survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren, David Milliard of North Branford and Brian Tousignant of Southington.

Friends may call Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
