OP Sr. Doris Regan Obituary
Congregation of St. Mary of the Springs, now the Dominican Sisters of Peace.
Sr. Doris earned her BA in Latin and History from St. Mary of the Springs College, now Ohio Dominican University, her MA in Classics from the Catholic University of America, and certificates in spiritual direction, administration and Clinical Pastoral Education. She taught in high schools in Ohio and served as principal in West Hartford, CT. In addition to her educational ministry, she also served the poor as a missionary in Bolivia, Peru and Honduras.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Michael and Mary Catherine Cella Regan, her brother Reverend Richard Regan, SJ, and her sister Joan Sheridan. She is survived by
nieces and nephews.
A Vigil of Remembrance Service will be held at 4:45 PM on January 28, 2026 at the Dominican Sisters of Peace Motherhouse Chapel, Columbus, OH.
The funeral liturgy will be held at the Dominican Sisters of Peace Motherhouse Chapel at 9:30 AM on January 29, 2026 followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery by Egan-Ryan Funeral Home.

Thank you for your life of service and dedication. I have fond memories of you from Northwest Catholic. Class of 1983. Rest in peace Sister Doris.
