Oralia "Tweety" Zallar, age 46, passed away on Friday, December 9th, 2022, in Hereford, Texas. Funeral service has been scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2022 at Calvary Family Church with Ruben Coronado officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery under the direction of Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 2022 and Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Prayer Service will be held 6:00PM Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.
She was born January, 20th, 1976, in Harlingen, Texas to María Luisa Zallar Cantu and Oscar Zallar. She graduated top 10 from Hereford High School in the class of '94. She worked 17 years at Cargill and then became a CNA for Heroes Home Care. She loved her dog "Tiny", could not get enough of Nelly, and was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan. She had the biggest heart and treated her nieces, nephews and grandnieces, grandnephews as her own children. She was always the one with the brightest of smiles and would give anything for anyone in need before her own.
Those left or cherish her memories are her two sons Julian Luna Jr. and Jadyn Gonzales of Hereford, Texas; sisters Hilda Zallar and Sylvia Zallar Montez and boyfriend Jose Garcia of Hereford, Texas; brother Michael Zallar and his wife Jessica Zallar of Hereford, Texas; step-father Gregory "Chito" Cantu; nephews George Contreras Jr., Dominque Contreras, and Leo Gallegos all from Hereford, Texas; nieces Alyssa Gonzales, Janel Hernandez and husband Adrian Hernandez, Kayla Gallegos, Emrie Zallar, and Azlyn Zallar all from Hereford, Texas; grandnephews Jordan Bustamante, Zuriah Contreras, Drayden Contreras, Cameron Gonzales, Liam Hernandez, Maverick Gonzales all from Hereford, Texas; grandnieces Aybrie Gonzales, Anaia Contreras, Nevaeh Contreras, Alaia Hernandez all from Hereford,Texas; mother-in-law Ernestina Alvarez of Hereford, Texas; brother-in-law Angel Alvarez of Hereford, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, María Luisa Zallar Cantu and Oscar Zallar; grandparents Margarito and Ignacia Reyes, Francisco and Oralia Zallar; father-in-law Rosendo Alvarez.
