Orrin (Ozzie) Leslie Davis, 80, a lifelong resident of Hooksett, NH, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, with his family by his side. Orrin was born at home on February 12, 1946, in Candia, NH, and was the son of the late Theodore and Phoebe (Prescott) Davis; he was one of 17 children.
Orrin was a lifelong resident of Hooksett, NH, and attended Moore Elementary School. He was a longtime shoe factory worker in the Manchester mills, and coached baseball for his son’s team. He then went on to work for E.D. Swett building bridges, and then later in life, did property maintenance.
He loved spending time with his dog, Surprise. He recently enjoyed traveling to South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vegas. He was a member of the Deerhead Sportsman Club, and had many friends there.
Orrin is survived by his daughter, Susan Pynenburg and her husband Joseph Pynenburg of Auburn, NH, and his son, Michael Davis of Concord, NH. His Brothers, Theodore (Tedo) Davis of Auburn, NH, Charles (John) Davis of Manchester, NH, and William (Billy) Davis of Candia, NH. His grandchildren, Travis Pynenburg and his partner Alex Garcia of Auburn, NH, and Kimberly Cortino and her husband Marc Cortino of Concord, NH, and a great granddaughter, Marley Cortino. He leaves behind his companion Patricia Betts, and their dog Surprise.
Orrin is predeceased by his wife Linda Davis (Deschuiteneer), his daughter Sharon Davis, his son Paul Davis, his sisters- Priscilla (Pat) Sherbut, Beverly Campbell, Betty Maxwell, Grace Johnston, Ruth Davis, Mary Patricia Arel, and Barbara Clark. His brothers- Roland (Buddy) Davis, Robert (Teak) Davis, and Howard Davis, a set of twin siblings, and another baby that passed after birth.
Orrin will be laid to rest with his late wife and children at Holbrook Cemetery in Candia, NH. His family will celebrate his life privately.
